Kanye West is making headlines again, this time for calling out former CNN host Don Lemon over a rumor that he and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the 2025 Grammy Awards. But is there any truth to it?
Were Kanye West & Bianca Censori Really Kicked Out?
The drama started when reports surfaced claiming that Ye and Censori arrived uninvited at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday with an entourage of five people and were escorted out. Entertainment Tonight first broke the story, fueling speculation.
However, sources told Page Six that the couple left on their own terms after making a shocking red carpet appearance.
- Censori, 30, removed her black fur coat, revealing a completely nude look, which many believe was an attempt to replicate Ye’s “Vultures” album cover.
- A source clarified: “He walked the red carpet and then got in his car and left.”
Ye, 47, was nominated for Best Rap Song for his track Carnival with Ty Dolla $ign but lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”.
Kanye Calls Out Don Lemon Over the “Fake News”
On Monday, Ye took to Instagram (in a now-deleted post) to blame Don Lemon for allegedly starting the rumor about his Grammys exit.
Posting a picture of Lemon, Ye wrote:
👉 “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic].”
👉 “Three decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this.”
Don Lemon Fires Back at Kanye West
Lemon, 58, quickly shut down Ye’s claim. He posted a video response on Instagram, setting the record straight:
📢 “First of all, Kanye … Ye, whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it.”
📢 “I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.”
📢 “Get your s–t straight. You, of all people, calling me a coon? That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”
Lemon further clarified that Ye’s team confirmed he was invited and not kicked out.

While Ye continues to push boundaries with his music and public appearances, Bianca’s bold fashion choices at high-profile events remain a talking point.
